"Buy Our Nice Home In
Corrales"
We own a great house in Corrales New Mexico, it's address is 103 Don Lorenzo.
It is the second house on the left off of Loma Larga Street.
You can "Google Earth" this address and see the house, and the surrounding
neighborhood. It is not vacant, but is furnished as we use it for weekends.
We live in Tucson, Arizona, and cannot utilize this location
as much as we once did, so we are reluctantly parting with our home in Corrales.
It has four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a big bath with double
lavatories, shower, and a jetted tub. And a HUGE closet.
The other three bedrooms are on the other side of the house where there is
a full bath with shower, and a half bath.
There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and mop sink, with the half
bath.
There is an office or hobby room off the kitchen with an outside door and
great views of the Sandia Mountains.
We're talking about 2500 sq. ft. in this home!
There is a large living room with 14' ceiling, exposed pine log beams (Vigas),
and a working kiva fireplace with natural gas piped to it. It will
burn wood.
All the ceiling are 9' tall, except the living room which is 14'.
All the inside and outside doors are solid wood, (except closet doors).
The kitchen/dining room is large and roomy, with an access door to the side
covered patio with a great view of the Sandia Mountains and the Albuquerque
lights at night.
The hallways are extra wide, and the closets are extra large.
The floors are tiled with 14" tiles, and the bedrooms have Berber carpet.
There is a three car garage with remote door openers, one double and one
single.
The driveway is a drive-thru type, onto a paved street.
The area is quiet, the street is paved, and there are only two other houses
beyond this one where it dead ends. No thru traffic.
The lot size is approximately .85 acres, 175' X 229'.
There is a stucco wall around the front and east side (patio side) of the
house, with gates.
The heating system is natural gas fired boiler, with radiant heated floors
in each room, and each main room has a thermostat to regulate its temperature
as desired.
It has a high quality evaporative cooler (Master Cool) for use in summer
time. For those not familiar, the elevation here is above 5000', so
it stays fairly cool, especially at night. Also for those not familiar,
Corrales is located adjacent to, and between Albuquerque and Rio Rancho,
along the Rio Grande.
The water is from our private well, and has a filter and water softener located
in the garage.
The home was built in 1999 by Frank Larrabee, home builder.
It is pre-wired for an alarm system, but none is installed, we think this
is a very safe and secure area.
All the main rooms are wired for cable TV or Internet use.
All windows are thermopane style.
Yes, horses are allowed, if you want.
It is close to Intel, a Hospital, Schools, WalMart, dozens of fine restaurants,
and the Cottonwood Mall. The International Balloon Fiesta can be watched
from the patio.
The asking price is only $489,000 and for a home of this size and quality,
we believe this to be a great bargain for someone! The home is in Sandoval
County and no emission tests are required for your vehicles.
